SKUM School
SKUM School, a leading educational institution known for its focus on science and technology, offers state-of-the-art facilities to its students. To further enhance its science curriculum, the school sought to upgrade its laboratories with modern, functional, and safe furniture that would support a wide range of scientific activities and experiments.
The school required laboratory furniture that met strict safety standards while also being durable, ergonomic, and adaptable to different teaching methods. The furniture needed to facilitate both individual and group work, provide ample storage for equipment and materials, and be resistant to chemical spills and other laboratory hazards. Additionally, the project had to be completed within the school’s budget and before the start of the new academic term.
Custom Laboratory Benches
The furniture provider designed and installed custom laboratory benches with chemical-resistant surfaces, ensuring durability and safety during experiments. The benches were equipped with built-in sinks, gas taps, and electrical outlets to support a variety of scientific activities.
Flexible Storage Solutions
The labs were outfitted with modular storage cabinets and drawers, allowing for easy organization and quick access to laboratory equipment, tools, and materials. Lockable storage units were also included to securely store hazardous substances and sensitive equipment.
Safety Features
To ensure a safe learning environment, the furniture included features such as fume hoods, safety shields, and emergency eyewash stations. These elements were integrated seamlessly into the design to comply with safety regulations while maintaining a modern, functional aesthetic.
